Abigail Covington is a music and cultural journalist and critic living in New York City. Her work has been published in Pitchfork, The A.V. Club and Consequence of Sound. Her 2016 article for Oxford American's annual music issue, entitled "When the Fire Broke Out," was chosen as a notable essay by Jonathan Franzen for The Best American Essays 2016.
Abigail has a BA in Creative Writing and Politics from the College of William and Mary and is currently pursuing her MA in Journalism, with a focus on arts and culture, at Columbia University.
